A diameter tube electrode typically manufactured from either brass or copper is used to drill holes in a work piece to produce accurate blind and through holes for air, liquid and gas to pass through.
This is also used to simply generate a start hole in a work piece for a subsequent Wire Erosion process.
Our Capacity;
Maximum work piece height 350 mm.
Automatic high precision depth stop for producing blind holes to a constant depth every time.
We can produce direct perpendicular holes with no ‘wander’ keeping a high concentricity.
We use electrodes ranging from 0.300 mm to 3.000 mm in diameter.
Heidenhain Control.
