Electrical Discharge Machining

A unique, non – conventional engineering process which is used to produce a desired complex or intricate shape which in many cases would be extremely difficult if not impossible to generate using conventional machining methods.
Twin Brook Engineering uses the latest computer aided design software utilising the latest machining techniques
Due to the nature of this type of machining, all work pieces must be metallic.

Advantages Include;

High tolerance precision to 0.005 micron with excellent machining repeatability.
A smooth surface finish of 0.2 Ra can be achieved.
The ability to machine hardened steel, exotic stainless steels, ferrous and non ferrous materials including brass, aluminium and carbide.
Zero cutting pressure for small delicate work pieces.
The process leaves no burrs on the work piece.
